Sorry I missed a week on the comics internet there... if it makes any difference I wasn't, you know, relaxing or anything like that. Nope, I was tending to my higher calling, which happens to be (gulp) serious prose writing. I now have another blog up and running: Matt Seneca Words will feature selections of my not-comics writing for the next few months before giving way to a massive effort at serializing my new novel online while I go through the process of editing and constructing it. I'll have a lot more to say on that later, though. For now, I've got five short-ish pieces up that I'm pretty proud of -- especially "Steel" and "The Slave".
I really hope that everyone who has enjoyed my writing here on DTU will give my prose a shot; as opposed to most of the comment and criticism I throw up on this site, my stories are the work of long periods of time and carry a lot of my deeper thoughts and feelings. If you like what I have to say about comics, I hope you'll consider heading over to read what I have to say about life. Thanks!
