Those are what I tend to draw, and recently has been no exception. You should go read my new short strip here -- I made it for a gallery show so it's a lot smaller than real life on the web, but I think it still looks pretty good. I've been trying to make these shorter comics more and more of a fine-art visual experience than a typical-comics reading experience anyway, so it was nice to play in that sandbox for real on a strip. (I did still try to tell a coherent story of sorts, though.) It's a little Greek vase painting, a little Rodin watercolors, a little Frank Santoro, a little Paul Pope short story, a little surrealist... and a lot pretty, I thought. Go read it -- or maybe I should say "go look at it"? -- and get your eyeballs blown!
